Saudi Cabinet Condemns Houthi Attacks

Saudi Arabia’s Cabinet has strongly condemned Houthi attacks on civilian and economic sites in Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan and Najran. The Saudi government described the attacks as acts of aggression and reaffirmed its commitment to protecting the Kingdom and its people.

Saudi Arabia Reaffirms Right to Defend Sovereignty

During its weekly meeting, Saudi ministers reaffirmed the Kingdom’s right to defend its sovereignty, citizens and residents. The Cabinet also rejected attacks by the Yemen-based Houthi group on commercial ships and international maritime navigation in the Red Sea.

More Than 70 People Reported Injured

According to a Saudi military spokesman, the attacks have left more than 70 people injured in different towns and cities across the Kingdom. Women and children were among those reported injured, increasing concerns over the impact of the attacks on civilians.

Medical Care Ordered for Those Injured

Saudi Minister of Media Salman Al-Dosari said the Cabinet directed authorities to provide the highest level of medical care to people injured in the attacks. The directive highlights the government’s response to those affected by the incidents.

Crown Prince Chairs Cabinet Meeting in Jeddah

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman chaired the weekly Council of Ministers meeting in Jeddah on Tuesday. According to the Saudi Press Agency, he briefed ministers on his discussions with the leaders of Egypt, Greece and Oman.

Cabinet Discusses Regional Developments

The ministers also discussed developments in the Palestinian territories and Arab efforts to stop Israeli violations in Jerusalem. The meeting also covered Israel’s continuing settlement expansion policy, according to the report.

Saudi Arabia and Germany Strengthen Strategic Dialogue

The Saudi Cabinet welcomed a memorandum of understanding signed between the foreign ministries of Saudi Arabia and Germany. The agreement aims to establish a strategic dialogue and strengthen consultation and coordination between the two countries.
