His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Communications Technologies Authority, was present for a significant agreement signing with Syska Hennessy Group at Aljada on Monday.
Rashid Ali Al Ali, Executive Director of SCTA, finalized the deal with Kostas Tsekouras, Managing Director of SyskaHennessy Group.
The goal of this collaboration is to establish a robust framework for strategic partnership between the two entities, with an emphasis on advancing coordination and sharing technical insights in data centres and sophisticated tech infrastructure.
This initiative is anticipated to foster the development of modern technological ecosystems in Sharjah, enhancing the effectiveness of upcoming projects and aiding SCTA's long-term objectives in the communications and technology sectors.
Additionally, the partnership will encourage new business growth opportunities, joint service promotion, and investment exploration. Both parties intend to offer innovative solutions based on leading global practices, reinforcing Sharjah's standing in the rapidly expanding data centre and technology infrastructure domain.
For SyskaHennessy, this agreement will facilitate its expansion efforts within Sharjah, streamlining the process to initiate operations while enhancing SCTA’s global relations and international footprint.
Founded in 1928, Syska Hennessy Group specializes in engineering and designing critical facilities and data centres across the globe. This partnership will allow SCTA to leverage the company's vast experience, ensuring adherence to top international standards in communication and information technology.
During the signing ceremony, both parties exchanged commemorative shields. Sheikh Sultan also took the opportunity to engage with SCTA team members, recognizing their contributions and posing for commemorative photographs.
