Eid Al Adha Prayer Led by Sharjah Ruler at Sharjah Mosque

Sharjah: On Wednesday, Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the Ruler of Sharjah and a Member of the UAE Supreme Council, presided over the Eid Al Adha prayer held at Sharjah Mosque.

He was joined by Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, alongside Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi and numerous senior family members and officials.

In attendance were notable figures including Sheikh Dr Salem bin Abdulrahman Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Ruler’s Office; Sheikh Mohammed bin Humaid Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Statistics and Community Development; Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Districts Affairs Department; Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairman of Sharjah Charity International; Sheikh Saud bin Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Director General of the Sharjah Digital Department; and Sheikh Saif bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab Parliament for the Child, among other sheikhs and senior officials.

The Eid sermon was delivered by Sheikh Dr Abdullah Mansour, who spoke on the significance of monotheism and sincerity in faith, urging adherence to the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). He highlighted the values of moderation and balance within Islam, affirming a positive stance against extremism and negligence.

He underscored the need for strong family values, emphasizing that honorable families are essential in nurturing children with moral and religious guidance. He called for reinforcing family bonds, fostering tolerance, forgiveness, and social coexistence while steering clear of disputes and divisions.

In summing up the sermon, he offered prayers for the UAE, seeking divine blessings for security, stability, and prosperity, and for safeguarding its leaders, citizens, and residents. He also prayed for the acceptance of Hajj rituals and the safe return of pilgrims.
