This exchange occurred during Sheikh Mohamed’s official visit to India and focused on critical areas such as defence, space, energy, food security, and investment.

A standout moment was the signing of a letter of intent to forge a strategic defence partnership, aimed at enhancing security and defence cooperation between the UAE and India.

In the realm of space, an intention to collaborate was established between the UAE Space Agency and India’s National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre, promoting advancements in the space industry and commercial initiatives.

Energy relations saw a new agreement through a sales and purchase arrangement between ADNOC Gas and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited from India.

A memorandum of understanding regarding food safety and technical standards was also signed by the UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment and India’s Agricultural & Processed Food Products Export Development Authority.

Investment partnerships were enhanced through a letter of intent between the UAE Ministry of Investment and the Government of Gujarat, specifically targeting the Dholera Special Investment Region.
