Mass Shooting Reported Near Durban
Eleven people were killed and three others injured after armed suspects opened fire at a house in the Ziko area of KwaMakhutha, a township around 30 kilometres south of Durban, on Tuesday night. South African police have launched a manhunt for those responsible.
Victims Were Gathered Inside a House
Police said 13 men and one woman were gathered at the house when three men reportedly arrived and opened fire. Ten victims died at the scene, while four people were taken to hospital. One of those later died from gunshot injuries. The woman was believed to be pregnant.

Three People Injured in the Attack
Three people survived the shooting with injuries and were taken for medical treatment. KwaZulu-Natal authorities said the incident has caused deep shock and grief in the local community.
Police Launch Manhunt for Suspects
South African Police Service Acting National Commissioner Puleng Dimpane has directed a 72-hour tracking operation to pursue and apprehend the suspects. Police said investigators are following a lead that could assist the investigation.
Motive Has Not Yet Been Confirmed
Police have not established the motive for the shooting. Authorities said some of the victims were known to Crime Intelligence in connection with investigations into alleged illegal activities, but further details have not been released.
