In a significant development, a Sri Lankan court has announced travel limitations for former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and two ex-military personnel as the investigation into the 2019 Easter bombings progresses.
This ruling, handed down by the Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, followed a request from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), which is conducting a thorough inquiry into the series of coordinated terrorist acts.
