Belinda Bencic was instrumental in guiding Switzerland to their first-ever United Cup final, showcasing remarkable talent and persistent resolve in the matches. The Swiss squad faced a challenging Belgian team, making their victory both thrilling and hard-earned.

The turning point of the match occurred when Bencic faced Elise Mertens of Belgium in a highly intense singles encounter. Displaying concentration and tenacity, Bencic secured a vital win that put Switzerland in the lead. Her exceptional play on the court invigorated her teammates and uplifted their spirits.

Following the singles events, the match concluded with the mixed doubles showdown, where Bencic teamed up with Jakub Paul. Together, they engaged in a nail-biting performance against Belgium’s Elise Mertens and Zizou Bergs. The contest saw both teams exchanging momentum, with the Swiss duo taking the first set 6-3 but dropping the second 0-6. However, they showcased their prowess during the decisive tiebreak, finishing with a 10-5 victory.
