Trump Appears to Ignore Zelensky During G7 Summit in France

Post by : Raina Al-Fahim

US President Donald Trump appeared to ignore Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during the 2026 G7 Summit in France, according to videos circulating on social media.

The clips show Donald Trump greeting and shaking hands with several world leaders at the summit. However, he was not seen shaking hands with Zelensky or having any clear conversation with him during the event.

The incident has drawn attention online, especially because it comes during ongoing global discussions about the war in Ukraine and international relations. Earlier reports also suggested tensions between the two leaders, including a heated exchange during a previous meeting at the White House earlier this year.

The G7 Summit is being held in G7 Summit Evian-les-Bains 2026 from June 15 to 17. Leaders from major countries are discussing key global issues such as the world economy, energy security, trade, climate change, supply chains, and the ongoing war in Ukraine.

The summit continues to attract global attention as leaders hold meetings and bilateral talks on major international challenges. Officials have not made any formal statement about the interaction between Trump and Zelensky during the event.
