U.S. President Donald Trump has indicated that the United States could conduct a second military strike against Venezuela if President Nicolas Maduro's remaining government officials fail to cooperate. Trump emphasized that the U.S. would collaborate with Venezuelan officials to combat drug trafficking and reshape the country's oil sector instead of pushing for immediate elections. However, he cautioned that non-cooperative officials might encounter severe repercussions.
Extending his comments, Trump suggested that Colombia and Mexico could also be subject to U.S. military action should they fail to curb illegal drug trafficking to the United States.
