The first batch of humanitarian aid from the Saqr Humanitarian Ship has officially entered the Gaza Strip, four days after the ship docked at Al Arish Port in Egypt.
UAE humanitarian teams stationed in Al Arish have been working continuously through the UAE Humanitarian Aid Logistics Centre to unload the cargo, sort it, and prepare it for delivery. Officials said the teams are following a structured process to ensure supplies reach families in Gaza quickly and in an organised way.
Authorities added that operations are being carried out under a precise system designed to speed up the entry of aid, especially as humanitarian conditions in Gaza remain extremely difficult.
The shipment was provided as a donation by the Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Charity and Humanitarian Foundation, and comes ahead of the holy month of Ramadan.
The UAE said the mission is part of its ongoing support under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, aimed at helping the Palestinian people and strengthening humanitarian relief efforts on the ground.
