UAE and Egypt Strengthen Ties Amid Regional Challenges

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, welcomed Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi during a significant visit to the United Arab Emirates.

The two leaders delved into the robust bilateral ties and explored avenues for enhancing cooperation across various sectors, aimed at achieving mutual development goals while fostering prosperity for both nations' citizens. They also shared insights on recent regional events and their implications for global security and stability.

In a clear stance, President El-Sisi condemned the recent Iranian assaults impacting civilians and civilian structures in the UAE, reaffirming Egypt's unwavering support for the UAE's security, sovereignty, and the welfare of its populace.

The conference saw participation from key figures such as Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and various ministers and officials from both nations.

Earlier, the two leaders inspected the Egyptian fighter jet unit located in the UAE, evaluating operational readiness and ongoing initiatives to bolster defense capabilities in the face of diverse challenges, alongside senior defense officials.
