UAE Bestows Independence Order Upon UK Ambassador

In an important diplomatic gesture, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has conferred the First Class Order of Independence to Edward Hobart, acknowledging his significant contributions to bolstering relations between the UAE and the UK during his time as ambassador.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan presented this esteemed award during a formal meeting in Abu Dhabi.

During the gathering, Sheikh Abdullah commended Ambassador Hobart for his pivotal role in advancing strategic partnerships and enhancing collaboration between the two nations across multiple sectors. He extended his best wishes for the ambassador’s future endeavors in diplomacy.

Grateful for the recognition, Ambassador Edward Hobart expressed his appreciation to Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed for the prestigious award, emphasizing the robust and evolving relationship shared between the UAE and the UK.

The ambassador also acknowledged the support and cooperation from UAE officials and government entities throughout his mission.

This award exemplifies the strong diplomatic ties and mutual respect that exist between the UAE and the UK.
