UAE Humanitarian Flight Brings 100 Tonnes of Food to Gaza Through Egypt

Post by : Bianca Haleem

A UAE humanitarian flight has successfully delivered 100 tonnes of food supplies to Al Arish in Egypt as part of the ongoing “Humaid Air Bridge” initiative. This operation falls under the UAE’s humanitarian effort, Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, aimed at assisting Palestinian communities in the Gaza Strip.

The cargo consists of 3,978 food parcels, meticulously prepared to adhere to high humanitarian standards. This aid is focused on addressing essential food needs and enhancing food security for families in Gaza, who are enduring challenging living conditions.

Upon landing in Al Arish, the UAE's humanitarian team received the supplies, which were then sent to the UAE humanitarian logistics centre for storage. The aid will be dispatched into Gaza via authorized routes to ensure swift and secure delivery to those in need.

This recent delivery is part of the UAE’s ongoing efforts to provide relief in the region. It underscores the country's dedication to delivering emergency humanitarian assistance and alleviating the hardships faced by the Palestinian population.

Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 persists in its mission using various transport methods—air, land, and sea—to deliver food, medical, and other relief supplies. This initiative illustrates the UAE’s long-standing commitment to humanitarian assistance and solidarity with nations in crisis.
