UAE Floating Hospital Bolsters Gaza Patient Care via Rafah

UAE Floating Hospital Bolsters Gaza Patient Care via Rafah

Post by : Bianca Haleem

Located in Al Arish, Egypt, the UAE Floating Hospital has welcomed two additional patients from the Gaza Strip via the Rafah border crossing, ensuring they receive crucial medical support. This effort is a vital component of the UAE's humanitarian initiative, Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, designed to aid Palestinians amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis.

With these latest arrivals, the total number of patients treated at the UAE Floating Hospital since the Rafah crossing's reopening in February has now reached 85.

Medical professionals at the facility promptly began health assessments to guarantee that each individual receives appropriate treatment in line with international medical practices.

The UAE Floating Hospital is fundamental in providing essential healthcare for Palestinian patients from Gaza, offering services such as medical check-ups, diagnostics, surgical procedures, physiotherapy, and dialysis.

An expert Emirati medical team manages the hospital, supported by an Indonesian contingent, ensuring round-the-clock healthcare availability to accommodate various medical needs and ensure continuous care for patients.

The UAE's Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 underscores the nation’s ongoing humanitarian commitment to assist the Palestinian population during their time of adversity in Gaza.
