H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, engaged in discussions with Omid Nouripour, Vice-President of the Bundestag from Germany, to address significant regional and international matters.

The conversations covered the latest developments in the region, focusing on the repercussions of Iranian missile strikes targeting not only the UAE but various nations in the vicinity. They examined how such provocations affect regional stability, international security, energy distribution, maritime safety, and the broader global economy.

During their discussions, the German representatives expressed their unwavering solidarity with the UAE, endorsing all actions undertaken to safeguard the nation's sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the wellbeing of its citizens, residents, and visitors.

Sheikh Abdullah expressed gratitude for the visit, highlighting that it underscores the robust ties between the UAE and Germany, as well as Germany’s support in the current context.

The agenda also included conversations regarding the recent ceasefire announcement by U.S. President Donald Trump concerning the U.S. and Iran, emphasizing the necessity to bolster regional and global efforts aimed at securing enduring peace and stability.

Additionally, the dialogue explored the enhancement of collaboration between the UAE and Germany across various industries.

Sheikh Abdullah pointed out the vital role parliaments play in supporting diplomatic resolutions to conflicts while advocating for dialogue to achieve peace and sustainable development.
