In Al Arish, Egypt, the UAE Floating Hospital marked Eid Al-Adha by hosting Palestinian patients, their families, and staff as part of its humanitarian effort known as “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3”.
This celebration created an uplifting environment for those receiving treatment away from home during the severe humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Members of the Emirati medical team, administrative staff, and their families participated in the festivities.
Throughout the event, the initiative offered heartfelt greetings to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, as well as Supreme Council Members, Rulers, and Crown Princes of the Emirates.
This humanitarian mission reinforced its pledge to assist the Palestinian community with ongoing medical and relief efforts, aiming to alleviate suffering and promote solidarity during the Eid festivities.
Designed to bring joy, the occasion also aimed at easing the emotional burden for patients and their caretakers amidst their treatment away from their homeland.
The Eid activities encompassed entertainment, games, and special events for children, along with distributing gifts to patients, kids, and caregivers, all emblematic of the hospital's humanitarian aims.
Officials highlighted that the UAE Floating Hospital not only delivers medical and surgical care to wounded Palestinians from Gaza but also prioritizes emotional and psychological support for patients and their families.
Additionally, the hospital frequently hosts social and recreational programs to enhance patients' spirits and aid in their recovery.
