In a strategic initiative, the UAE Cyber Security Council (CSC) has teamed up with CPX Holding to unveil the ‘UAE Cyber Factory’, aiming to fortify the nation’s cybersecurity framework and reinforce its digital leadership ambitions.
This project aims to elevate the UAE’s competencies in detecting, preventing, and addressing escalating cyber threats aimed at both public institutions and private enterprises. This comes amid a global surge in cyberattacks, with reports indicating that the UAE faces over 800,000 cyber threats each day.
Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, leading Cyber Security for the UAE Government, emphasized that the establishment of the UAE Cyber Factory is pivotal for positioning the nation as a leader in cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions.
He stated that the nation focuses on not only safeguarding its digital framework but also on pioneering technologies to detect and neutralize cyber threats swiftly.
The UAE Cyber Factory will concentrate on innovating and enhancing next-gen cybersecurity frameworks and systems that harness artificial intelligence (AI). These breakthroughs are anticipated to empower the UAE in addressing evolving cyber threats with increased agility and precision.
Additionally, the endeavor aims to establish a comprehensive sovereign cybersecurity ecosystem, ensuring the UAE retains full authority over its defenses and enhances its digital autonomy for future challenges.
With this collaboration, the UAE Cyber Security Council alongside CPX is committed to advancing the nation’s vision of fostering competitive and locally developed cybersecurity solutions.
Hadi Anwar, CEO of CPX, remarked that the UAE Cyber Factory is a critical progression towards cultivating a secure and future-ready cybersecurity landscape. He reiterated that the initiative will blend local expertise with advanced engineering practices and innovative concepts generated in the UAE.
Furthermore, he mentioned that this project will reinforce the national cyber defenses and foster a safer digital ecosystem for governmental bodies, businesses, and residents throughout the UAE.
