UAE Launches Ramadan Air Bridge to Deliver Aid to Gaza

Post by : Bianca Haleem

The United Arab Emirates has launched an aid air bridge to deliver urgent relief supplies to the Gaza Strip during the holy month of Ramadan.

The initiative follows the directive of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman. It is being carried out under the UAE’s humanitarian campaign, Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, which aims to ease the suffering of Palestinians affected by the ongoing conflict.

The air bridge will transport food parcels, medical supplies, and other essential relief items to support families facing difficult conditions in Gaza.

Several charitable organisations in the Emirate of Ajman will jointly manage the operation. They will oversee the preparation and packing of aid consignments, and coordinate the shipment, delivery, and distribution of supplies on the ground.

Sheikh Humaid said the initiative reflects the UAE’s long-standing humanitarian approach of helping those in need, especially during Ramadan — a month that highlights the values of compassion, solidarity, and support for others.
