The United Arab Emirates National Pavilion has received strong international attention on the second day of the Defence Services Asia Exhibition and Conference (DSA) 2026. The event is being held at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur.
The UAE participation is supported by the Ministry of Defence and the Tawazun Council for Defence Empowerment. It is organised by ADNEC Group, a subsidiary of Modon. This reflects the UAE’s commitment to building global defence partnerships and supporting innovation in the defence industry.
On the second day, the pavilion welcomed more than 2,200 visitors. These included senior military officials, international delegations, and top executives from global defence and security companies. This large turnout highlights the UAE’s growing role as a global hub for advanced defence technologies.
The pavilion also received high-level royal visitors, including a delegation led by H.R.H. Tengku Sarafudin Badlishah Ibni Al-Aminul Karim Sultan Sallehuddin, Crown Prince of Kedah, and H.R.H. Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Ibni Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Jamalullail, Crown Prince of Perlis.
Senior UAE officials also visited the pavilion, including Dr. Nasser Humaid Al Nuaimi, Secretary-General of the Tawazun Council for Defence Empowerment, along with other UAE representatives and military officials in Kuala Lumpur. They reviewed the latest defence technologies and exhibits on display.
The pavilion also hosted delegations from many countries, including Oman, Türkiye, Thailand, Namibia, South Africa, South Korea, the Philippines, Singapore, Italy, Myanmar, Germany, and others. This shows its importance as a global platform for defence cooperation.
During the second day, more than 80 meetings were held with industry leaders and defence experts. These discussions focused on modern defence technologies such as unmanned systems, robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), and cybersecurity solutions.
Leading UAE defence companies including EDGE Group, Calidus, Resource Industries, and ASIS Boats showcased their latest innovations. Their advanced systems attracted strong interest from international visitors.
The UAE Pavilion is located at Hall 4, Stand 4100 at MITEC and will remain open until 23 April.
