This report highlights the UAE's unwavering commitment to upholding top-notch standards in nuclear safety, encouraging transparency, and engaging in global cooperation. It represents part of the UAE's duties as a signatory to the Convention on Nuclear Safety, which aims to ensure the secure operation of nuclear power plants across the globe.

Key Achievement: All Barakah Units Operational

The firm is focusing on promoting a safety-oriented culture through independent evaluations and increased workforce involvement, alongside investments in training to cultivate domestic expertise. Partnerships have also aided in the enhancement of the UAE’s nuclear supply chain.

Commitment to Global Safety Standards

The UAE has reaffirmed its commitment to international best practices, aligning with IAEA safety recommendations and implementing the principles of the Vienna Declaration on Nuclear Safety.

The report emphasizes efforts to:

  • Address past review recommendations

  • Improve emergency preparedness measures
