UAE Enhances Global Collaborations at GLOBSEC Forum 2026

The United Arab Emirates participated in the GLOBSEC Forum 2026 held in Prague, Czech Republic, from May 21 to 23, represented by a distinguished delegation headed by Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

During the forum, Lana Zaki Nusseibeh was involved in vital discussions surrounding global security, defense, technology advancements, and shifts in the international landscape. This involvement underlined the UAE’s enduring commitment to fostering international collaboration and dialogue.

On the sidelines, Nusseibeh conducted numerous bilateral talks with key European and international figures to bolster partnerships, identify new collaborative avenues, and assess regional and global progress.

In a discussion with Anita Orbán, both representatives emphasized the burgeoning relationship between the UAE and Hungary, delving into potential cooperation in trade, investment, energy transition, advanced technologies, artificial intelligence, and defense matters. They also explored significant international and regional concerns.

Furthermore, Nusseibeh met with Ferit Hoxha, aiming to facilitate stronger ties between the UAE and Albania. Their talks encompassed infrastructure, renewable energy initiatives, tourism, and coordination in international discussions, with a focus on developments in the Middle East and the pursuit of regional stability.

The UAE’s engagement in GLOBSEC Forum 2026 showcased its commitment to forging robust international relationships and actively participating in global initiatives to tackle common challenges.
