New Ambassador of Mauritania Presents Credentials to UAE

Omar Obaid Alhesan Alshamsi, Undersecretary of the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, received the credentials of Abdallahi Bah Nagi Kebd, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mauritania to the UAE.

In their meeting, Alshamsi extended a warm welcome to the ambassador, wishing him success in his diplomatic role. He reiterated the UAE's dedication to bolstering ties with Mauritania, aiming for expanded cooperation in various sectors of mutual benefit.

Alshamsi emphasized the significance of growing bilateral relations in a way that aligns with the interests of both nations and contributes to their ongoing development and collaboration.

Ambassador Abdallahi Bah Nagi Kebd expressed his honor in representing Mauritania in the UAE, acknowledging the robust and evolving relationship between the two countries. He noted that the collaboration continues to progress across numerous fields.

He highlighted that the advancements in their bilateral relations signify a shared vision to enhance cooperation, promote sustainable development, and fulfill the aspirations of their citizens.

The discussions reaffirmed the commitment of both the UAE and Mauritania to foster diplomatic relations and enhance collaboration in areas of mutual concern.
