This groundbreaking concept takes inspiration from the late Sheikh Zayed’s vision, aiming to elevate the contribution of skilled citizens in determining the future of the nation.
This launch coincides with the end of the Year of Community, presenting a unique governance paradigm centered on community involvement. For the first time, qualified UAE citizens will take charge of a public authority, with leadership roles such as Director General and team members rotating regularly, responsible for crafting sustainable solutions beneficial to the nation and its populace.
This initiative showcases the President’s commitment to empowering individuals, capitalizing on their talents, and investing in human resources to meet society's changing needs. The Virtual Authority uses a flexible appointment system based on set criteria like expertise, competence, and effective contribution capability. Rotating leadership fosters a continual exchange of fresh insights and enhances community engagement while promoting shared responsibility.
