The Vietnamese government has announced the appointment of Nguyen Huy Dung as the new Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism during an official ceremony in Hanoi. This announcement was made by Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra on behalf of the Prime Minister.

He previously served as Deputy Minister of Information and Communications and has held key roles in cybersecurity and digital transformation before assuming his new role in the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.
