Heroic Honor for Vietnam's Military Medical Division

Post by : Shakul

In a significant ceremony in Hanoi, Vietnam's Military Medical Division was awarded the illustrious title of Hero of the People’s Armed Forces, commemorating its 80 years of invaluable service. This celebration highlighted the department's extensive contributions to the country.

Attending the ceremony, Phan Van Giang presented the award on behalf of the Vietnamese President. The accolade honors the division's outstanding work in training, combat preparedness, healthcare, and national defense efforts.

General Phan Van Giang, during his speech, commended past and present military medical personnel for their unwavering dedication and sacrifices, noting their essential role in supporting soldiers during critical times and achieving significant victories.

Historically, Vietnam's military medical forces have been pivotal in delivering urgent care and assistance to countless wounded soldiers, setting up field hospitals and medical contingents that enabled troops to return to combat effectively.

Moreover, the department has been key in bolstering the health and readiness of the military. Their influence extends beyond wartime, incorporating elements of disaster preparedness, disease management, and collaboration with civilian health services.

Looking forward, leaders stress the importance of modernizing military medical practices, enhancing preventive healthcare initiatives, and integrating cutting-edge technology. The department is anticipated to be vital in addressing both conventional and emerging security challenges.

This recognition not only acknowledges past accomplishments but also underscores Vietnam’s military medical sector’s ongoing commitment to ensuring the health of its soldiers and contributing to the nation’s overall security and development.
