The Abu Dhabi Youth Council organised a graduation ceremony for participants of the Tharwa Real Estate programme, where 50 Emirati youth successfully completed training and received official real estate broker licences. The programme aims to empower young Emiratis and open sustainable career opportunities in the growing property sector.
The ceremony was attended by Khaled Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Federal Youth Authority, and Saif Al Nasseri, Acting Undersecretary of the Department of Municipalities and Transport, along with several government officials, partners, and representatives from the real estate sector. Their presence highlighted the importance of the initiative in developing national youth talent.
The Tharwa Real Estate programme is one of the key initiatives launched by the Abu Dhabi Youth Council in partnership with several strategic organisations. The programme is designed to prepare a new generation of Emirati real estate brokers by combining specialised training with practical, hands-on experience aligned with market needs.
Participants received comprehensive training in real estate brokerage, including workshops on regulatory and legislative frameworks that govern the property market. The programme also included practical field visits to help participants understand the real estate industry from a real-world perspective.
During the programme, participants visited the Real Estate Exhibition and several major property destinations across Abu Dhabi. These included Al Reem Island, Hudayriyat Island, and Fahid Island. These visits allowed trainees to observe large-scale developments, understand project planning, and learn about marketing and sales processes within the real estate sector.
The field visits played an important role in improving participants’ professional readiness by giving them direct exposure to investment opportunities, development processes, and real estate market operations. This experience helped prepare them to work as licensed real estate brokers after graduation.
The Abu Dhabi Youth Council stated that the programme is part of its wider efforts to support youth financial independence and increase their participation in high-growth economic sectors. The initiative focuses on delivering real results by graduating qualified and licensed professionals who are ready to enter the real estate market.
The ceremony concluded with the recognition of the graduates for their dedication and achievements during the programme. Partners and supporters were also honoured for their contribution, highlighting the importance of cooperation between institutions in developing skilled national talent and supporting sustainable economic growth in Abu Dhabi.
