Al Dhafra hosted a focused employment Open Day organised by Mawaheb Talent Hub, under the Department of Government Enablement – Abu Dhabi. The event drew Emirati jobseekers and recent graduates looking to meet prospective employers from across sectors.
More than 19 organisations took part, among them the Ministry of Education, Abu Dhabi Civil Defence, ADNOC, TAQA, SEHA Al Dhafra Hospitals, Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation, and international players such as G42 and Rheinmetall. Collectively they promoted in excess of 150 positions covering public services, energy, finance, advanced technology and healthcare.
The forum enabled direct contact between Emirati candidates and recruiters, with on-site interviews and informational exchanges about career paths. Attendees welcomed the opportunity for in-person dialogue with institutions they aim to join.
Mawaheb Talent Hub noted that these events help speed up recruitment, support skills development and improve the fit between candidates and roles. By bringing employers and talent together, the hub works to enhance labour market outcomes in the Al Dhafra area.
This initiative aligns with broader efforts to strengthen Emirati participation in the workforce across regions, allowing citizens to pursue substantive careers close to home and aligning local talent with the emirate’s economic priorities.
