On Monday evening, the Al Majaz Amphitheatre was packed as two iconic Arab music artists, Tamer Ashour and Wael Jassar, delivered an exhilarating concert that attracted fans from all over the UAE. The ambiance was electric from the start of the “Let’s Majaz” event, underscoring the venue’s emergence as a vital center for cultural and musical happenings in the region.

Both performers expressed their heartfelt appreciation to the Sharjah audience, highlighting the emirate’s expanding role in hosting premier entertainment events and offering a platform for top-tier artists.

Kicking off the night, Tamer Ashour showcased a powerful repertoire of his most beloved songs. He launched with “Hekayat” and seamlessly moved through a collection that has defined his journey as an artist. The crowd went wild for his hits such as “Asr Ba’eed,” “Al Rak Ala Al Neyya,” “Hagi Al Nafsi,” and “Ghaybet El Habayeb.” Ashour maintained the excitement with tracks like “Yah,” “Teslam,” “Beit Kabir,” and “Makrahtehosh,” concluding his set with memorable hits including “Ohololo Samah,” &ldquoEftera’na,” “Kont Fein,” and the fan-favorite “Haygeli Mawgou.”

Following Ashour, Wael Jassar captivated the audience with his trademark tarab style. He began with a collection of classic favorites that instantly resonated with his long-time fans. His fluid transition from “Ghareeb El Nas” to “Kol Waad” electrified the crowd, who sang along wholeheartedly. Jassar continued with well-loved numbers like “Betwashesheeni,” “Mawgoua,” “Msheet Khalas,” “Malyoun Ahebbak,” and “Mahma Ye’oolo.” The atmosphere grew even warmer with “100 Ehsas,” leading to a tribute to classic Arabic music with “Alf Leila wa Leila.” He finished off with “Hasaret Kol El Nas,” “Nekhabi Leh,” and “Halleni,” leaving the crowd clamoring for more.

Through its ongoing concerts and cultural events, Al Majaz Amphitheatre further solidifies Sharjah’s reputation as a premier destination for unforgettable live entertainment this season.
