Arab Youth Pioneers Recognized For Impact And Innovation

Forty outstanding Arab youth from 13 countries were honoured at a ceremony held at the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy. They were recognised for their work in social impact, innovation, and regional development across 10 specialised tracks, highlighting their contributions to society and leadership in their communities.

Event Held Under Sheikh Theyab’s Patronage

The event was held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes Affairs and Chairman of the Arab Youth Centre. The ceremony showed the UAE’s dedication to empowering young Arabs and supporting their role in regional development projects.

Attendance of Key Leaders and Officials

The ceremony included the presence of senior officials such as Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Vice Chairman of the Arab Youth Centre, Sheikh Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, Chairman of the UAE Media Council, and Dr. Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs. Partners and participants from across the Arab world also attended, creating a platform for networking and collaboration.

Empowering Arab Youth a Strategic Priority

Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi highlighted that empowering youth is a strategic priority for the UAE. He said investing in young pioneers is key to building the Arab future. Every participant in the initiative reflects the potential to create positive impact through creativity, dedication, and skill development.

Keynote Speech Emphasizes Impact and Leadership

Dr. Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi delivered the keynote speech, describing the initiative as a bridge for empowerment and opportunity creation. He noted that the young pioneers not only achieved personal success but also became role models, inspiring their communities through projects that go beyond profit to create meaningful societal impact.

Tiger Group Supports Arab Youth Initiatives

During the ceremony, the Arab Youth Centre announced a sponsorship agreement with Tiger Group, providing AED1 million in financial support under the Platinum “Al Shahama” package. Three Arab youth pioneers were selected to receive direct support: Ali Hamid Al Lougany from UAE (Industry & Innovation), Sundus Jaber Al Farsi from Kuwait (Space & Technology), and Ameen Riyad Abu Diak from Palestine (Education).

Recognition of Supporting Institutions

The ceremony also honoured partner institutions. The Abu Dhabi Business Youth Council received a shield as a strategic partner. Platinum sponsor Tiger Group was recognised for supporting youth projects. Other partners included the National Media Office, Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy, Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation, and Sheraa, among others, acknowledging their role in creating an enabling environment for Arab youth.

Session on Arab Youth and Global Impact

A special session titled “From Narratives to Policies: Arab Youth and Global Impact-Making” was held with Sheikh Abdulla Al Hamed. The session discussed how youth can shape narratives, turn innovation into sustainable projects, and participate meaningfully in global policy-making, moving from technology users to policy creators and influencers.

Manarat Al Rowad Package for Pioneers

The Abu Dhabi Youth Business Council announced the “Manarat Al Rowad Package” for participants of the initiative. This one-year premium membership provides consultations, licensing support, and tailored facilities to help pioneers establish and grow sustainable projects.

Fostering a Unified Arab Entrepreneurial Environment

The initiative connects leaders, experts, and institutions from public and private sectors to build a unified entrepreneurial environment in the Arab world. It includes workshops, networking sessions, and capacity-building programs designed to enhance skills, empower youth, and accelerate their projects.

Celebrating Leadership and Innovation

The Arab Youth Pioneers ceremony highlighted the importance of nurturing young talent. It recognised the contributions of Arab youth in leadership, innovation, and community development. By supporting pioneers through initiatives, sponsorships, and mentorship, the UAE continues to strengthen the role of youth as agents of change in society and across the Arab region.
