New Crew from Shenzhou-23 Arrives at Tiangong Space Station

On Monday, three astronauts aboard China's Shenzhou-23 spacecraft made a successful entry into the Tiangong space station, marking the official start of a critical crew exchange mission.

As reported by the China Manned Space Agency (CMSA), the Shenzhou-21 crew opened the hatch at 5:13 am Beijing Time to welcome their successors.

This interaction between the two astronaut teams has initiated the crew rotation process aboard China's Tiangong space station. During this transition, both crews will collaborate in orbit until the Shenzhou-21 astronauts return home.

The Tiangong space station plays a pivotal role in China's expanding space initiative, facilitating long-term human space exploration, scientific studies, and technology trials in the cosmos.

The successful arrival of the Shenzhou-23 crew underlines China's unwavering advancement in space exploration and its commitment to enhancing operations within the Tiangong station.
