Indian badminton star Ashmita Chaliha showcased her skills to earn a place in the quarterfinals of the Malaysia Masters by defeating Malaysia's Goh Jin Wei in straight sets.

With a scoreline of 21-13, 21-16, Ashmita's victory came during the pre-quarterfinal match held in Kuala Lumpur, where she dominated the play and finished the contest in under 30 minutes.

Throughout the match, Ashmita exhibited impressive court coverage, quick reflexes, and precise shot placement as she effectively neutralized her opponent's attacks.

The first game saw Ashmita launch aggressive strokes and demonstrate strong net play, allowing her to establish an early lead and secure the opener at 21-13.
