Launch of Barakat Al Seha: A Practical Wellness Guide for Families in the UAE

Post by : Bianca Haleem

In an innovative community-focused effort, SEHA CLINICS, associated with PureHealth, has partnered with the Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre (ADPHC) to launch Barakat Al Seha — a wellness and recipe guide aimed at promoting accessible and culturally relevant healthy living for families throughout the UAE.

This resource merges halal-compliant, Emirati-inspired recipes with essential tips on nutrition, fitness, mental health, and daily routines, providing families with a tangible guide to wellness. Crafted by PureHealth professionals under the guidance of certified dietitians, it seeks to effectively connect clinical health advice with practical lifestyle applications.

In line with the UAE Year of the Community and the National Wellbeing Strategy 2031, Barakat Al Seha showcases a commitment to preventive health measures. It also aligns with SEHA CLINICS’ primary care model, allowing patients the option to engage in follow-up consultations on nutrition and mental well-being. The printed editions are available in SEHA CLINICS, schools, government entities, and community activities in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.

This initiative enhances the ADPHC’s SEHHI program, which aids consumers in recognizing healthier food choices via nutrition labeling in eateries and food products. The book, officially recognized under SEHHI, provides families with trusted guidance while fostering sustainable lifestyle changes.

By integrating clinical reliability with culturally significant advice, Barakat Al Seha not only assists families in making healthier choices but also represents PureHealth’s commitment to fostering prevention, wellness, and longevity in daily life, paving the way for a future where informed, incremental actions can yield substantial improvements.
