Bentley Reid Opens DIFC Office in Dubai to Serve Ultra-Wealthy Expatriates

Post by : Bianca Haleem

Bentley Reid, an employee-owned wealth manager, has established Bentley Reid (DIFC) Limited in Dubai, operating from the DIFC Funds Centre with a DFSA Category 4 licence.

CEO Peter Clark has relocated from the UK to oversee the Middle East rollout. For more than four decades the firm has advised high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families, primarily from Hong Kong and the UK, and now seeks to support the region’s growing expatriate and family office client base.

Dubai’s private wealth has expanded rapidly: Henley & Partners reported the city led Middle East wealth concentration at end‑2024. Forecasts suggest the UAE could gain almost 9,800 new millionaires in 2025, outpacing traditional hubs such as London and Singapore. The DIFC hosts over 1,000 family-related entities, including roughly 120 family offices overseeing more than USD 1.2 trillion.

The Dubai office will deliver discreet, tailored wealth management to international clients, leveraging Bentley Reid’s expertise with expatriates in Asia to navigate the Middle East’s complex financial landscape.
