At the Global Peace Honours 2025, Bhumi Pednekar once again wowed fashion enthusiasts with her stunning and sophisticated appearance. The actress dazzled on the red carpet wearing an eye-catching yellow Mashroo silk saree by Ekaya Banaras, beautifully bridging traditional Indian aesthetics with modern fashion sensibilities. Her outfit epitomized the melding of cultural heritage and contemporary style.

Crafted in vivid yellow, the saree immediately caught the eye against the vibrant red carpet backdrop. It featured exquisite gold embellishments and a meticulously embroidered border, elevating its overall grandeur. With a price tag of ₹62,975, the Mashroo silk saree exemplifies exceptional craftsmanship and the rich textile heritage of India. Mandvi in Gujarat is acknowledged as the epicenter of Mashroo weaving, a tradition enriched by contributions from both Hindu and Muslim communities over generations. Cotton sourcing involved farming groups like the Ahir Patels, while Rabari and Ahir women beautified the fabric with embroidery and mirror work. This rich tradition fostered community ties and celebrated shared artistic talents.

Bhumi Pednekar’s recent appearance illustrates how public figures can renew interest in traditional fabrics, cultural identity, and Indian craftsmanship.
