An intense blizzard in Alberta has stranded countless drivers for hours, with some facing nearly 20-hour delays as treacherous weather crippled travel. Authorities confirmed the reopening of Highway 63, restoring access to Fort McMurray, although parts of Highway 16 near Jasper remained impassable due to lingering weather issues. Drivers were advised to monitor official traffic updates prior to setting out.
