D4vd Taken Into Custody in Connection with Teen Girl's Death in LA

Post by : Shweta

In a significant development, singer D4vd has been arrested in Los Angeles regarding the death of a missing teenage girl, according to law enforcement authorities.

David Anthony Burke, known professionally as D4vd, was detained on suspicion of murder as a grand jury examined the case surrounding 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez. Officials report he is being held without bail, awaiting a presentation of charges to prosecutors in the near future.

The investigation was ignited after authorities discovered the girl's remains in September 2025 within a vehicle connected to the artist. The body was found in advanced decomposition inside a Tesla that had been towed to a yard in Hollywood following complaints of a strong smell.

The remains were located in the front compartment of the car, and initial analyses made it apparent that the victim had likely been deceased for several weeks prior to the recovery. The specific cause of death remains unverified, with the case initially treated as a mere death investigation before escalating.

Celeste was reported missing by her family in April 2024 from her Southern California residence. Investigators noted that she had a history of leaving home, but her disappearance last year sparked a broader search.

The case has garnered considerable public intrigue, particularly online, due to the limited official details and speculation about D4vd's link to the victim. Evidence was reviewed by a grand jury late last year, which ultimately resulted in the recent arrest.

While specific details about the alleged crime have not been disclosed, police confirmed that this arrest is a vital step in the ongoing investigation. Authorities are continuing to collect evidence as the legal proceedings unfold.

Since the body was found, D4vd has significantly reduced his public appearances and canceled several professional engagements. Brand partnerships and collaborations have also reportedly been impacted.

The investigation remains active, and officials have yet to reveal any additional charges or a confirmed timeline for upcoming court actions.
