Abu Dhabi Enhances UK Tourism Relations with New Agreements

Post by : Bianca Haleem

Abu Dhabi is actively pursuing the UK tourism market with a new set of partnerships designed to elevate the emirate's global presence. The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has formed eight strategic collaborations with top UK travel agencies during the World Travel Market in London, a premier event in the travel industry.

This initiative underscores Abu Dhabi’s commitment to bolster tourism growth and provide UK visitors with hassle-free access to its extensive array of attractions, hotels, and experiences. The partnerships aim to connect both first-time travelers and return visitors with the emirate's distinct offerings, positioning the city as a must-visit destination.

Among the agreements are firms like Southall Travel, Luxury Holidays, Best At Travel, Destination2, Kenwood Travel, Elevate, DialAFlight, and loveholidays. Each was chosen for their proficiency in various travel sectors—from family vacations to luxury escapes—aligning with the goals of Abu Dhabi’s Tourism Strategy 2030.

Through these collaborative efforts, Abu Dhabi seeks to enhance its visibility within travel itineraries and online platforms across the UK. The initiative aims to promote the emirate not just as a luxury hub, but as a destination that offers a variety of experiences suitable for every type of visitor throughout the year.

This initiative is a key part of DCT Abu Dhabi’s overarching strategy to foster sustainable tourism growth, stimulate long-term sector advancements, and ensure resilience in a market heavily reliant on international visitors for local economic support.
