DMCC has announced the launch of two new commercial towers, One Uptown Place and Two Uptown Place, in its flagship Uptown Dubai district. This marks a major step in expanding the area as a global business hub.
The new development will add more than 560,000 square feet of Grade A office space. With this addition, Uptown Dubai’s total commercial space will cross 1 million square feet. Leasing for the towers is expected to begin in the second half of the year, while completion is planned for the first quarter of 2028.
The two towers will be 21 and 15 storeys high. They are designed to meet the needs of different types of businesses, from large multinational companies to growing firms. Office spaces will range from 2,100 to 17,600 square feet. Some floors will also offer multi-level office layouts connected by private staircases, ideal for larger companies.
The project will also include around 82,000 square feet of retail space. This will further strengthen Uptown Dubai as a mixed-use destination with offices, shopping, and lifestyle facilities in one location.
This expansion comes as DMCC continues to develop new business ecosystems in finance and capital markets. Recent initiatives like FinX and the Wealth Hub aim to attract financial institutions, fintech companies, and digital asset firms. This growth is increasing demand for high-quality office spaces in well-connected areas.
According to Ahmed Bin Sulayem, businesses today are looking for flexible workspaces with strong connectivity and access to global markets. He said the new towers reflect the rising demand from sectors like trade, finance, and technology, and will support the growth of modern businesses.
The towers are designed by Brewer Smith Brewer Group and will focus on user comfort and performance. Facilities will include dining options, retail outlets, and a swimming pool. The development will also provide more than 1,600 parking spaces with valet service and a shuttle connection to the Dubai Metro.
Other features include floor-to-ceiling glass windows offering wide views, 13 high-speed elevators, and efficient inter-floor connectivity for large companies.
Both buildings are aiming for LEED Gold certification, with features such as energy-efficient systems, water-saving solutions, and improved indoor air quality.
DMCC is currently accepting expressions of interest from businesses ahead of official leasing. With this project, Uptown Dubai is set to become a leading destination for global trade, finance, and emerging technologies.
