A high-performance McLaren driver was arrested late last night after a crash close to Casa Loma in Toronto, according to police reports.

The incident unfolded just after midnight at the intersection of Spadina Road and Austin Terrace. Authorities indicate that the McLaren veered off course, striking a light pole and a bike rack, leading to extensive damage to the surrounding infrastructure.

First responders arrived promptly, discovering two adults with injuries. Both were taken to a local hospital where their conditions were determined to be serious but stable, with no threat to life reported.

Law enforcement has disclosed that the suspect, presumed to be the driver of the sports car, was arrested on charges of suspected impaired driving. Investigations into the precise events that led to the crash are ongoing.

This collision happened near the iconic Casa Loma, a bustling area frequented by both residents and tourists, raising concerns regarding public safety.
