Dubai Hosts Business Forum in China to Enhance Trade Relations

Post by : Bianca Haleem

Announced by Dubai Chambers, the upcoming Dubai Business Forum – China is slated for Shenzhen on October 14, 2026. Under the theme “Momentum at Scale: Accelerating Shared Success”, this forum seeks to bolster business ties between Dubai and Chinese enterprises.

Aimed at assembling investors, business leaders, multinational firms, and governmental representatives, the event seeks to cultivate new avenues for investment, trade, and tech innovation.

Dubai Chambers emphasized that this forum will position Dubai as a prime business hub for Chinese enterprises aiming to explore regional and international markets. Focus areas will include forging practical business partnerships and encouraging cross-border collaboration.

H.E. Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, the President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, remarked on the robust economic rapport between Dubai and China, emphasizing collaboration on trade and sustainable growth. He noted that Shenzhen's selection underscores Dubai's dedication to enhancing ties and forging new business opportunities.

The forum will dive into pivotal sectors such as digital economy, smart mobility, advanced manufacturing, and emerging tech. Lootah believes this setting will link Chinese businesses with Dubai’s vibrant ecosystem, aiding their global expansion.

An agenda packed with business discussions, strategic networking sessions, and meetings is set to help firms convert opportunities into tangible partnerships and investments.

Chosen for its reputation as a global tech and innovation center, Shenzhen is pivotal in China's Greater Bay Area and is recognized globally for its digital advancements.

This forum is part of Dubai Chambers’ comprehensive mission to enhance international economic partnerships, draw foreign investments, and align with the ambitions of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which aims to double the economy and place Dubai among the top three global cities.

This marks the fifth international Dubai Business Forum and the second in China, following a successful edition in Beijing that brought together over 800 sector leaders in August 2024.
