Dubai Holding Increases Stake in Emaar Properties to 29.73%

Dubai Holding has successfully acquired a 22.27% stake in Emaar Properties from the Investment Corporation of Dubai (ICD), elevating its total ownership to 29.73%.

This acquisition positions Dubai Holding as the largest shareholder in Emaar Properties, a premier real estate developer in the Middle East.

Emaar Properties, which trades on the Dubai Financial Market, boasts a wide-ranging portfolio including residential, commercial, hospitality, and retail developments. The company has a substantial footprint in the Middle East, North Africa, Asia, and Europe, supported by an extensive development pipeline and a variety of income-generating assets.

This move demonstrates Dubai Holding’s faith in Emaar Properties’ competitive stance and robust asset base, as well as the long-term growth potential of the emirate's real estate market.

The acquisition further cements the strategic alliance between Dubai Holding and Emaar Properties, both of which have a well-established history of partnerships and joint ventures across various sectors.

Dubai Holding operates globally in over 30 countries, managing assets totaling over AED 500 billion across diverse sectors, such as real estate, hospitality, entertainment, retail, media, and investments.
