In a demonstration of pride and unity, Dubai's Community Development Authority (CDA) conducted a national march named ‘Generation Shapers Proud of UAE’ at Umm Suqeim Park, initiated under the 'Proud of UAE' campaign by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE.
This initiative aimed not only to solidify social ties but also to elevate national identity and foster a deeper sense of community belonging.
Distinguished guests included Her Excellency Hessa bint Essa Buhumaid, who emphasized the vital contributions of Emirati women in nurturing future generations and fostering a united, progressive society. Families, children, and representatives from the broader community joined in celebration.
Numerous activities were organized to engage attendees, featuring participation from Emirati start-ups and small businesses. Festive UAE flags and mementos were handed out, while entertainment and informational competitions provided a lively atmosphere showcasing national pride.
Her Excellency Buhumaid highlighted that the initiative is aligned with the UAE leadership's vision to uplift Emirati women and fortify the role of families within the community. She stated that societal strength begins with united families, a principle supported by the CDA through various sustainable programs that enhance quality of life.
The event aligns with Dubai Social Agenda 33, focusing on enhancing family welfare and community cohesion.
Community members, including mothers, homemakers, and volunteers, gathered to enhance intergenerational communication and showcase social solidarity.
Collaboratively organized with various government entities, such as the Dubai Police and Dubai Municipality, the march underscored collective efforts to uphold Emirati values in national initiatives.
