UAE Flags Distributed by Dubai Police to Promote Unity

Post by : Bianca Haleem

To strengthen community bonds and instill a sense of national pride, Dubai Police have initiated a flag distribution campaign across several neighborhoods in Dubai.

This initiative, named “Proud of UAE,” was launched following the guidance of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. It focuses on celebrating national identity and fostering a spirit of belonging among residents.

Approximately 800 UAE flags were distributed in prominent residential areas such as Al Marmoom, Margham, Al Awir, Lahbab, and Al Khawaneej, showcasing patriotism throughout the communities.

The General Department of Logistic Support spearheaded the programme, with collaboration from local police teams and partner organisations. Officials noted that such initiatives profoundly enhance unity and social ties among residents.

Community members have embraced the initiative, observing that the presence of flags has uplifted the spirit of unity and pride. Authorities affirm that endeavors like these not only celebrate nationalistic sentiments but also promote shared values and cultural harmony across Dubai.
