Exciting DXB Snow Run Returns on May 17 at Ski Dubai

Post by : Bianca Haleem

On May 17, Dubai will welcome the much-anticipated seventh edition of the DXB Snow Run, promising an extraordinary sporting event amidst sub-zero temperatures of -4°C. This unique occasion is organized by Ski Dubai, in partnership with the Dubai Sports Council.

This year's theme is “Growing in Unity,” in honor of the UAE’s ‘Year of Family’ initiative. The aim is to foster community spirit, inclusivity, and well-being, encouraging participants to engage in an active lifestyle.

Following the success of the last edition that drew over 700 runners from over 70 nations, strong participation is once again anticipated. The event encourages male and female runners aged 13 to 70+ to take part.

Participants can opt for a 3km run involving three loops or a challenging 5km run with five loops. Runners may register individually or as part of a five-member team, adding a competitive touch to the event.

Participation Categories & Fees:

  • Individual (3km): AED 120

  • Individual (5km): AED 150

  • Team of 5: AED 110 per person

Registration is currently open and will close on May 14, with interested parties encouraged to sign up via PremierOnline.

All finishers will receive a commemorative medal, while special prizes await the top three finishers in each category.

To enhance the experience for spectators, a Spectator Pass has been introduced, priced at AED 50. This allows family and friends to enjoy the event from a designated viewing area, which includes a complimentary hot beverage in the snowy setting.

The DXB Snow Run is a remarkable fusion of fitness, enjoyment, and family togetherness, set in a breathtaking indoor winter landscape, showcasing the UAE’s spirit of unity and community.
