At the conclusion of the 2024-25 academic year, Dubai International Academic City and Dubai Knowledge Park have welcomed a record student count exceeding 38,500. This figure reflects a robust 15% growth from the prior year, solidifying Dubai's reputation as a premier global educational center.
The two districts collectively attract a diverse range of students from upwards of 170 nations, offering an extensive portfolio of over 600 programs that span bachelor’s degrees, diplomas, and doctoral studies across various leading universities and vocational establishments.
Marwan Abdulaziz Janahi, Senior Vice President of Dubai International Academic City and Dubai Knowledge Park, stated, “The unique talents of our students reflect Dubai's allure to the most promising global talent. Our learning environments are designed to inspire innovation and provide skills that align with the Dubai Economic Agenda 'D33' and Education 33 Strategy 'E33.'”
Prominent universities within these locales include Amity University, Curtin University, Heriot-Watt University Dubai, Middlesex University Dubai, Murdoch University Dubai, University of Birmingham Dubai, and University of Wollongong Dubai. Notable postgraduate options are provided by institutions such as IIMA, University of Manchester Dubai, University of Bradford, and University of Strathclyde Business School UAE.
Additionally, vocational and training centers like ACCA Middle East, Alliance Française, City & Guilds, and the International Centre for Culinary Arts are located in these districts.
Dubai International Academic City excels in delivering academic excellence with tailored campuses and laboratories, while Dubai Knowledge Park emphasizes lifelong learning alongside premium office spaces, community facilities, and retail options.
Both campuses host engaging events such as Campus Talks, which connect students to industry leaders, and UNCOVERED, a talent contest featuring cash rewards. The Knowledge Assembly convenes academic, industry, and governmental leaders to drive forward initiatives like the Higher Education Leadership Network.
