ECAE Visits Al Ain Schools to Measure Graduate Impact on Education

The Emirates College for Advanced Education (ECAE) has completed a series of field visits to schools across the Al Ain Region to evaluate how its academic programmes are making a difference in classrooms and school leadership. The visits were conducted under the college's Boureka Gharssekum initiative, which focuses on measuring the real impact of ECAE graduates on education quality, teaching practices, learning outcomes, and innovation in schools.

More than 85 ECAE graduates are currently serving in teaching and educational leadership positions across the schools visited.

School Visits Highlight Graduate Achievements

During the visits, ECAE representatives met with graduates working in different educational roles and observed the initiatives and projects they are leading within their schools. The visits allowed the college to assess how its graduates are applying their knowledge and professional training to improve educational performance.

The initiative also reflects ECAE's commitment to maintaining strong connections with schools and supporting educational leaders in line with the UAE's goal of building a sustainable and future-ready education system.

Vice Chancellor Highlights Importance of Measuring Educational Impact

Dr. May Laith Al Taee, Vice Chancellor of ECAE, said the school visits demonstrated the positive contribution graduates are making to learning environments through innovative educational practices.

She said the outcomes confirm the success of ECAE's approach in preparing educators who can lead meaningful and lasting improvements across the education sector. According to her, the true value of the college's academic programmes is reflected in stronger classroom practices, improved student learning, and continuous school development.

Dr. Al Taee added that these achievements support the UAE leadership's vision of creating an education system that is sustainable, diverse, inclusive, and resilient.

She also stressed that investing in teachers and educational leaders remains one of the most important investments for the future of education. Several ECAE graduates shared examples of how the college's academic and professional development programmes have influenced their work in schools.

Laboratory Learning and AI Improve School Leadership

Samira Awad Al Breiki, Academic Vice Principal at Al Talea School, presented several educational projects that combine laboratory-based learning with interdisciplinary teaching.

She also introduced the Emirati Al Sana’ initiative, which strengthens students' understanding of the UAE's cultural heritage and national identity.

Al Breiki explained that participating in the Horizons Educational Leadership Program helped her use artificial intelligence (AI) tools for data analysis and decision-making, contributing to improved operational efficiency within the school.

Scientific Research Enhances Teaching Practices

Fawzia Abbas Hafez, Arabic Language Teacher and Coordinator at Al Talea School, said the Innovative Learning Communities Program changed the way she approaches classroom challenges.

She explained that the programme encouraged her to focus on individual student efforts and use action research based on a structured scientific method, leading to noticeable improvements in her teaching practices.

Innovative Teaching Makes Learning More Engaging

Adalia Qassim Al Shannaq, Cycle One Science Teacher at Al Talea School, said the academic programmes she completed at ECAE introduced her to modern teaching methods.

She highlighted play-based learning and inquiry-based learning as approaches that have made classroom lessons more interactive, enjoyable, and engaging for students.
