Post by : Bianca Haleem

A vibrant celebration for Eid Al Adha unfolded across the UAE, uniting around 300,000 workers in a heartfelt tribute to their vital role in the nation's progress, with events hosted in 30 locations.

Initiated by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE), the festivities showcased a variety of cultural and recreational activities aimed at fostering joy and camaraderie among workers during the festive season. The initiative was a collaborative effort, involving a multitude of federal and local entities, emergency services, and private businesses.

Participants enjoyed an array of live entertainment, traditional dance performances, interactive games, and social activities that encouraged participation and engagement. The events also featured raffles with attractive prizes, including cars, travel vouchers, and other gifts.

Complimentary gifts were distributed at various venues, further uplifting the festive spirit and recognizing the invaluable contributions of workers.

Additionally, several companies from the private sector supported this national initiative by hosting corresponding events, showcasing the strong collaboration between the government and industry in advancing worker welfare.

Officials remarked that these celebrations underline the UAE’s dedication to acknowledging the essential role of workers in driving the economy and facilitating national growth. This initiative also aligns with broader goals of enhancing workers’ living standards, promoting social inclusion, and nurturing community belongingness.

The Eid Al Adha celebrations served not only as a joyous occasion but also as a heartfelt expression of gratitude, reinforcing the UAE’s commitment to ensuring a supportive, inclusive environment for all workers.
