Elisa Longo Borghini delivered an outstanding performance to win the Trofeo Oro women’s cycling race in Cinquale di Montignoso, leading a dominant display by UAE Team ADQ.
The Italian national champion secured a decisive solo victory after launching a powerful attack on the second climb of La Fortezza. Her move dropped all rivals, allowing her to ride alone to the finish line and seal a commanding win.
The race covered a total distance of 106.8 kilometres and was tightly controlled by UAE Team ADQ throughout. The team maintained a strong pace and tactical discipline from the start, ensuring their riders remained at the front of the peloton.
Behind Borghini, teammate Karlijn Swinkels finished in second place, while Dominika Włodarczyk secured third. Silvia Persico crossed the line in fourth place.
Two more UAE Team ADQ riders also placed inside the top ten. Paula Blasi finished ninth, while Erica Magnaldi took tenth place.
In a remarkable team achievement, all six riders representing UAE Team ADQ in the race finished within the top-10 standings, highlighting the squad’s strength and coordination in the international women’s cycling event.
