Emirates Airlines Showcases UAE Flag Livery on Airbus A380

Post by : Bianca Haleem

Emirates Airlines has introduced a striking new livery adorned with the UAE flag on its renowned Airbus A380 aircraft. This visually impactful design displays a massive UAE flag prominently on both sides of the aircraft, embodying the unity and pride of the nation.

This initiative features aircraft A6-EVG and aligns with Emirates' campaign titled ‘This Flag Will Always Fly’. This campaign, initiated by Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, encourages citizens and residents to display the UAE flag as a mark of national solidarity and unity.

Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum remarked that Emirates proudly embraces the call of leadership to honor the strength and unity of the UAE. He highlighted that the UAE flag has always been present on every Emirates aircraft's tail, and this new design pays homage to a nation that continues to inspire success and growth.

The specially designed aircraft has successfully completed flights to New York and Brisbane, with plans to serve various destinations within the Emirates network, allowing global travelers to see the UAE flag in the skies.

Furthermore, Emirates aims to implement this UAE flag design on its Boeing 777 fleet soon.

The UAE flag has consistently been a significant aspect of Emirates' brand identity, featured on the tail of each aircraft in the fleet. The airline has previously launched special liveries for key national celebrations.

In 2017, Emirates marked the ‘Year of Zayed’ by introducing a distinct aircraft design dedicated to Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The airline also showcased multiple liveries for Expo 2020 Dubai during that same year.
