Rally driver Nora Al Jassasi is set to make history as the first Emirati woman to compete in the FIA Middle East Baja Cup 2026. The championship will begin with the opening round in Hail, Saudi Arabia, next January, followed by the Aqaba round in Jordan in February. She was the only Emirati woman in the race, highlighting her determination and skill in a highly competitive field.

The Dubai Baja 2025 included a demanding 400-kilometre stage featuring fast dunes, open tracks, and broken sand dunes. Her performance showed she is fully prepared for more challenging stages in upcoming competitions.

Nora Al Jassasi explained that her participation in the Dubai Baja 2025 is part of her preparation programme for the upcoming regional championships. Each event will test her skills on different terrains, from sandy deserts to open tracks, helping her gain experience and improve her competitive edge.

By competing at such a high level, Al Jassasi is breaking barriers for Emirati women in motorsports. Her dedication and achievements are inspiring young women in the UAE to pursue careers in racing and other traditionally male-dominated sports. She serves as a role model for perseverance, discipline, and passion.

Al Jassasi’s strategy combines careful navigation, technical skill, and physical endurance. Completing rallies without accidents or major technical problems requires precise planning, quick decision-making, and strong teamwork. Her performance shows she has mastered all these elements, making her a serious contender in the FIA Middle East Baja Cup 2026.

As the FIA Middle East Baja Cup 2026 approaches, Al Jassasi will continue training and preparing for each stage. Her focus is on building her experience, improving her vehicle handling, and maintaining top performance in every rally. Her participation highlights not only personal ambition but also the growing presence of Emirati drivers in international motorsports.

Nora Al Jassasi’s historic entry into the FIA Middle East Baja Cup 2026 represents a new chapter for Emirati women in rally racing.
